Experimental Aircraft Association

Family watching airplane at Funday Sunday.

Experimental Aircraft Association is an international organization of aviation enthusiasts who range from recreational pilots to astronauts. EAA includes antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, ultralights, helicoptors and contemporary manufactured aircraft. Some major divisions include the International Aerobatic Club and the Vintage Aircraft Association.

The Dayton Region is home to several active EAA chapters. Their annual pancake breakfast fly-ins are popular events at local airports. Chapters also organize educational programs, assist amateur aircraft builders, donate to charities, and host community aviation events.
