The "Friends" of the National Museum of the United States Air Force membership program supports activities of the museum and assists in the growth of the facility. The foundation boasts more than 16,000 active members.
Members receive the colorful National Museum of the United States Air Force calendar, a subscription to the quarterly Friends Journal magazine and a membership card, as well as other benefits. The Friends Journal magazine features firsthand accounts of Air Force and aviation related articles as well as information on the latest happenings at the museum.
Members support the objectives of the Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc. and help the museum underwrite certain activities and help provide for the orderly expansion of the National Museum facilities as new aircraft and artifacts become available. The museum is the world's oldest and largest military air museum with more than 400 aerospace vehicles and thousands of related artifacts.
