The three-day World War I Dawn Patrol Rendezvous takes place every other year on the back field of the National Museum of the United States Air Force. It is presented by the museum and the Great War Aeroplanes Association.

The Dawn Patrol Rendezvous draws reproduction World War I aircraft, radio-control model airplanes, vintage cars, re-enactors in a World War I encampment, and a collector's show. Food and merchandise are available for sale. The museum itself is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The most recent Dawn Patrol Rendezvous was in 2009; dates for the 2011 event have not been announced.

The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located on Springfield Street, six miles northeast of downtown Dayton. It is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day). Admission and parking are free.
