The Air Force Materiel Command's 6th annual Freedom's Call Tattoo at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base saluted Korean War veterans, presented medals to Airmen and swore in recruits Friday evening, June 25, the 60th anniversary of the beginning of the Korean conflict.

Festivities included live music, a fireworks display and flybys of historic and current military aircraft.

The Air Force Materiel Command and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base host the Freedom's Call Tattoo every year. The free event highlights Air Force airmen and capabilities and is designed to strengthen bonds with neighboring communities.

The Freedom's Call Tattoo iincludes military flybys, but it is not an aerobatic show; if you are looking for jet teams and aerobatic performers, check out the
