The 16th Annual Giant Scale Radio-Control Air Show will put radio control aircraft of all kinds into the air behind the National Museum of the United States Air Force, including RC jets, warbirds and helicopters. The 2011 event is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, Sept. 2-4.

Sponsored by the Dayton Ohio Giant Scalers (DOGS), the Labor Day weekend event is scheduled each day from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pilots perform a half-time show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.

The event is open to the public, and admission and parking are free. Food and merchandise are to be available for purchase.

The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located on Springfield Street, six miles northeast of downtown Dayton. It is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day). Admission and parking are free.
