In 2009, the inaugural United States Air, Trade and Technology Expo (USATT) brought together domestic and foreign leaders in the military, civilian government, academia and industry. More than 1,400 individuals and 70 exhibitors registered for the event. The next expos is scheduled for 2011. USATT's goal is to address challenges and discuss issues across the aerospace industry. Scheduled every other year to coincide with the annual Vectren Dayton Air Show and National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement, the program seeks to leverage the events of the week to build business relationships between the end customer, prime contractors, and the second- and third-tier subcontractors who play an integral role in the aerospace industry.
