Flyer marks Netherlands centennial

Underscoring the
worldwide nature of Dayton's aviation heritage, the
Netherlands kicked off its own first flight centennial
today by dedicating a full size, stainless-steel sculpture
of a Wright Flyer that made the first powered flight on
Dutch soil in 1909.
