DAYTON, Oh – The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will return for the 2011 Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger, air show officials announced this morning.

Joining the Thunderbirds will be the Red Bull aerobatic helicopter for its first appearance at the Vectren Dayton Air Show, air show officials announced from an industry convention in Las Vegas.

DAYTON, Ohio – Vectren Corp. will continue as title sponsor of the Vectren Dayton Air Show presented by Kroger, Vectren and air show officials announced today. The three-year agreement means the energy company will retain through 2012 the position of top sponsor that it has held since 2001.

VANDALIA, Ohio — Members of Tora Tora Tora – an air show act that re-enacts the attack on Pearl Harbor with Japanese warplane lookalikes – had a busy day today as they gave flights to news media for a view of their performance from the cockpit.

DAYTON, Ohio – The Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger has added more flying acts to its already busy schedule for the 2009 show on July 18 and 19 at Dayton International Airport, organizers announced today. A Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit bomber is scheduled to make a flyby on Saturday, and the U.S. Army Reserve will demonstrate an AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopter both days of the weekend event.
