Tec^Edge, volunteer group design new tools for search and rescue

DAYTON, Ohio – A unique facility that supports Air Force research is helping a local volunteer organization develop high-tech tools for search and rescue groups nationwide.

The
Wright Brothers Institute has opened its Tec^Edge Innovation and Collaboration Center in Riverside to the Volunteer Imagery Analysts for Search and Rescue (VIASAR), a Dayton-based group of professional imagery analysts who help search and rescue groups across the United States locate the missing.
