The WACO Historical Society preserves the history of the WACO Aircraft Company and the Golden Age of Flight. It provides aviation-themed educational programs in math, science, technology and history. It operates Historic WACO Field, an authentic grass airstrip.

A major program is the annual WACO Vintage Fly-in in September. Founded in 1978, WACO Historical Society is a membership-based, not-for-profit corporation.


Museum Hours
March through December Saturday-Sunday: 1-5 p.m.
January through NovemberWednesdays: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
